Common Techniques

bleachingInside Out bleaching or Non-vital bleaching is a method used to lighten teeth that are no longer alive.  If a tooth has changed colour because of a root canal, it can be lightened form the inside out, using both palatal and buccal reservoirs. As illustrated to the left:
bleachingSingle  tooth bleaching is widely used to lighten a tooth up to the same colour as the other teeth, before whitening all the teeth. This technique is shown to the left.

We often hear about new techniques that dentist’s have learnt on courses and wish to try in their surgeries. We are pleased to make bleaching trays to any specifications you supply; we’re always open to new methods!

Bridge dental lab

This is a poor quality bleaching tray that has been made using a vacuum-forming machine. As you can see, there is no definition around the gingival margins, meaning the is a good chance of leakage.

This is a Bridge Dental Lab bleaching /fluoride tray. The margins are much clearer and well-defined, meaning the gel won’t seep and will be better contained inside the reservoir. You will not find trays this clearly defined anywhere else!
